What is shakshuka?
Shakshuka (we spell it shakshouka on our menu) is eggs gently cooked in a tomato sauce. It's eaten across North Africa and the Middle East, at breakfast or any time of day, usually with bread to mop up the sauce.
At Sababa we call it the ultimate family meal: eggs and tomatoes, made to share.
On our menu: shakshouka with two eggs and one pita, ₱350 on Grab.
Have it with
- Pita bread, to scoop up the sauce
- A side of hummus
